About Me

I have always had a passion for pictures. My parents knew that and graciously gifted me with my first Nikon in the summer of 2013. I cried. Big time. Shortly after that I stumbled (literally walking-down-Charleston-sidewalks kind of stumbled) into creating my little business.  It’s a good thing my spontaneity trait overrides my overthinking trait because I could have easily over-thunk my way right out of it!  I mean, starting a business while juggling motherhood and a full-time teaching job seems almost impossible… even seven years later. While the struggle is real (especially in the fall when everyone and their mama is wanting the perfect holiday card), I’m beyond grateful for those little moments and the why-nots that blindly led me down a path to one of my biggest blessings. Even all of these years later, I still get goosebumps when I capture the perfect shot.  I still feel exhilarated when I get to be a ninja and hide before an engagement.  I still tear up behind the lens at weddings during the vows. I still laugh at all of the behind-the-scenes shenanigans that happen on family shoots. I still feel honored to witness and capture the moments people want to remember, and I look forward to creating even more for years to come.
